unifi topology map not showing all devices

I am running pfsense vlans and after plugging in the 5 port, stuff started dropping off the network. This has been really annoying, but not a show stopper. It breaks for me on wireless uplinks, or using the secondary port on APs, and even the less crazy stuff. If I remove the filter "Status > Online" I see devices in a plain list As far as the switch knows, all those devices are connected to that port because if it needed to forward traffic to one of those devices that's the port it would use.
